Spotlight on Chris Douglas-Roberts:

Spotlight on Chris Douglas-Roberts: Of the shooting guard's scoring ability, Nuggets coach George Karl said, "I'll be honest with you, it surprised us." Douglas-Roberts has been consistent of late with his scoring, and he is second among NBA sophomores with 18.1 points per game (with 5.5 rebounds per game). Not bad for a guy taken 40th overall.

Nuggets : Denver trailed 51-50 at halftime against New Jersey on Nov. 4, but the Nuggets shot 68 percent in the third quarter and catapulted to a 122-94 win. ? Center Nene has scored 10 or more points in each of the previous 11 games. ? Asked about the progress of starting shooting guard Arron Afflalo, George Karl said: "Any new player with a new team, I think we've been happy with what we've got, but consistently finding his personality in a game is behind schedule. And it's not all his fault, that's probably my fault, and some of the rotational situations of who and how we're playing, it changes. But we're excited about what he can be."

Nets: Center Brook Lopez (right ankle) and guard Courtney Lee (left groin) are day to day. Out are Yi Jianlian (right MCL), Jarvis Hayes (left hamstring), Keyon Dooling (hip), Tony Battie (right knee) and former Nugget Eduardo Najera (lower back). ? In each of the past eight games, all losses, the Nets have held opponents to fewer than 100 points.
