NUGGETS More moves on the agenda
Getting the Chris Andersen deal done was just the beginning of the Nuggets' free-agency period.

But while Nuggets vice president of Basketball operations Mark Warkentien is excited about getting the "Birdman" back into town, he isn't letting interested and ticket-holding fans, media or competitors know what's next on the team's agenda.

"I'm happy to talk about Chris, but the rest of the world? No," Warkentien said Wednesday afternoon, less than 24 hours after finalizing the five-year deal worth up to $26 million to keep Andersen in powder blue.

"Well, we're real excited," Warkentien said of Andersen. "Both sides were motivated. In our postseason conversations, Coach (George) Karl made Chris his obvious No. 1 priority. So that's done. Now we can start looking at jobs two and three and other stuff."

Warkentien was expected to meet with Karl late Wednesday afternoon to talk more free agency. Karl had been in Spain. At or near the top of the Nuggets' list is what to do with restricted free agent forward Linas Kleiza and unrestricted free agent guards Anthony Carter and Dahntay Jones.

All have garnered some interest around the league, but the Nuggets control their fate with only Kleiza. They can match any offer he receives.

"I've got no comment on the rest of the guys," said Warkentien, who also declined to talk in general terms about what holes the Nuggets might be looking to fill.

He did say there is more to come.

``We're not done,'' Warkentien said. ``We only have a 13-man roster.''
