Denver Nuggets Roster Report 2009-11-03

Denver Nuggets Roster Report 2009-11-03ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chauncey Billups, Shooting guard Anthony Carter, Small forward Carmelo Anthony, Power forward Kenyon Martin, Center Nene. Bench -- Center Chris Andersen, Guard Arron Afflalo, Forward Joey Graham, Guard Ty Lawson.

--C Nene, after two so-so games to start the season, was perfect Sunday against Memphis. Well, at least he was from the field. Nene shot 6-of-6 while scoring 18 points and grabbing nine rebounds. Nene was a bit slow getting out of the gates, averaging 11.5 and 8.5 rebounds in the first two games. But Nene has continued to be foul prone. He fouled out of the season's first two games and had five Sunday in 33 minutes.

--C Chris Andersen got off to a slow start in Denver's first two games, averaging 3.5 points. But Andersen had his best game of the season Sunday with 12 points and five rebounds against Memphis. Nuggets coach George Karl said Andersen sometimes has trouble against physical teams such as Utah and Portland, which Denver played to open the season. But Andersen found his niche in an up-and-down game against the Grizzlies.

--G Joey Graham looks to be in line for more playing time. Nuggets coach George Karl said he has wanted to play Graham more but he has been bothered by a toe injury. After averaging just 6.5 minutes in the team's first two games, Graham was used for 13 Sunday against Memphis, scoring two points.

--No significant injuries to report.
