PLAYER NOTES: --Coach George Karl had hoped that forward Nene, who returned Thursday after missing 2 1/2 months following testicular cancer surgery, would see some action Saturday against Golden State. But he didn't play in the 119-112 win.
--G J.R. Smith scored 20 points Saturday against Golden State by mainly taking it to the basket. He shot 6-of-7 from two-point range and 1-of-9 on three-pointers.
--Cr Marcus Camby has been inconsistent lately, but he stepped up Saturday against Golden State with 12 rebounds and five blocks.
--When G Allen Iverson scored just 14 points Saturday against Golden State, it ended a streak of eight straight games with 20 or more points. The streak started after he scored just eight March 12 against Memphis.
